I was at a LLL meeting where we had two 13 months, one nursing just once a day and the other between 10 and 14 times - personally I prefer the more the better attitude but then it takes all kinds!!

ewe + dh = our little lambs + we and have many just : and : life .

As many times as she wants? LOL...I'm not really sure - maybe 5 times? And then a couple of times overnight sometimes?

I don't exactly remember, but I know it was still every 2-3 hours at that age, plus naps, bedtime and owies. It increased between 14-18 months when separation anxiety hit, and then slowed down again a little. But mine nursed until 3.5 and 5 yrs, so 1 year was still just a baby who needed mama snuggles IMO ...

I have a 14m old and he is nursing about every 2-3 hours. Sometimes a little less at night but then a little more during the day. My girls nursed WAY more at this age then DS does.

There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.

I've never counted, but my 15 month old nurses about every 1-3 hours during the day, and usually 2-3 times at night. Some nights it's less, sometimes more. If he's busy during the day or we're out somewhere he might go more than 3 hours. Some days it's a lot more. He nurses every time he goes to sleep and wakes up (one nap at this point). He nurses if we read about kittens or talk about milk. He nurses if he cries and needs more comfort than holding. He nurses if I sit down with him in a rocking chair. He nurses when we go out to the garden. . . you get the idea.

The longest we go between nursies is four hours. When we were on vacation we went five, and mommy was hurting.

Just turned 1yo here, and we still nurse every 2-3 hours during the day, every 1-3 hours at night, sometimes more. I am trying to get more nursing in during the day to hopefully help with the night waking.

At 12 months DS was still about 10 times a day, but he naturally dropped off to just 3 times a day by about a month or two ago.

My daughter is 25 months and we still nurse 10+ times per day. I nightweaned at 18 months for my own sanity.

My advice may not be appropriate for you. That's ok. You are just fine how you are and I am the right kind of me.
