DS is 3.5 and still likes to occasionally nurse, usually about 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes at night.  That's it.

I would REALLY love to do a detox but I'm afraid of the ramifications of doing this while DS is still nursing, even if he's just doing it a tiny bit.  It's a 30 day detox using raw foods/green smoothies.

We're doing child-led weaning, so I'm not going to wean him to do this.  If I have to, I'll just wait a few more months.

What do you think?  Can I do it?

I would wait. I'm kind of in the same boat, with a 3.25yo who nurses 2x per day or less, but I don't want to risk his health. In my case I have a lot of mercury and I really don't want him getting a big dose of heavy metals.

I am also nursing a 3 yr old, and I wouldn't do any detox, or even any big dietary change, until my little one weans. I'd worry that my supply could be affected.

Darn it.  I thought as much.  I guess he'll wean sooner or later....

Thanks.
