I feel silly asking this question....for weeks I have prayed that my breastmilk would dry up and that would in part help with full weaning.  DS is 2 next week and I am 17 weeks pg - I am just so read to be done and have a rest before it starts again!

DS stills 'feeds' when he goes to sleep for a nap or at night and also when he wakes up, but he almost never swallows and whether he feeds for 5 minutes or 20 he never switches breasts anymore.  Also when I try to hand express nothing comes out.  My nipple is SO sore and I find that first latch so painful - I dont know if it is because DS is just lazy or if it is just because everything has dried up.  What is a good indicator of NO Bmilk?  does anybody know anyways of trying to help the drying up process along?

To me it sounds like your milk is gone.  When I was pregnant I stopped making milk... but DD1 just kept on nursing.  I am sure it would of been a good time to wean her though since at least part of the appeal was gone.
