Ds will nap for 2-2.5 hours when dh puts him down on the weekend, but when I nurse him down during the week he'll only get in an hour tops.  I'd really like to be able to put him down in the same way that dh does, but he insists on nursing.  All dh has to do is say, Do you want to take a nap?"  Ds say, "naa".  Dh says, "Do you want to get in your bed?".  Ds says, "beh".  Dh puts him in his bed, tucks him in, and ds is out within minutes.  It takes me a good 20 minutes of rocking and nursing before I'm able to transfer him, boob in mouth, to a mat on the floor, where it takes another 5 minutes to get my boob back and sneak out of the room.  Way too much work for such little time actually sleeping.

I used Dr. Gordon's nightweaning technique and have been thinking that something similar might work for naps.  Anyone have any suggestions?  Oh, and the car and stroller are not options for many reasons.  : )
