Hell wise mamas:

I'm breastfeeding my 18m/o DD and we've been trying to conceive for 7 cycles.  I took clomid this cycle (I needed it to conceive DD), and I was going to trigger today, but there were no mature follicles despite a clear LH surge.

I believe that the reason we're unable to get pregnant is because my LH surge isn't aligning with the actual maturation of my follicles.

Could this be related to breastfeeding? Neither DD nor I are ready to wean, but I wonder if this problem seems as though it could be a result of breastfeeding or if it's unrelated?

Would FSH injections + HCG trigger help in this case while breastfeeding or should we just wait to see an RE until after DD has stopped breastfeeding?

Any thoughts?

Hi mama, I don't have any advice myself but I think that some of the mamas in Nursing Mamas TTC likely will.

Good luck!
