There's a good chance it will come back on its own sometime soon, even if you don't change anything.
Or you could try gentle ways to space out nursing -- like maybe going out for dinner and a movie with your DH?
Everybody has a tipping point, where they switch back to being fertile again. But everybody's is different, so it's hard to say for sure.
For me, the first time around I got mine back at 16 months. This time I've gone almost 28 months. I think the difference was that the first time I started working two nights a week, which entailed 5-hour separations, and that was enough to make a difference.
Hi, I can totally relate. I`ve just got my period a few days ago after 18 months. I`m actually not sure what made the difference but I did try spacing out nursing a little more. My little guy loves to nurse so it`s been really hard to distract him.
She'll go as much as 8 hours without nursing at night. How many hours do you think are neccesary to get ovulating again?
