does anyone else boild spices in water to make your home smell wonderful?

my fav is vanilla and cinnamon, it makes my home smell like I was baking all day.

anyones else care to share thier good smell'n ideas

I simmer the cinnamon and it smells so good! Makes me wonder why people buy those room fresheners... there's no comparison, imo!

All natural sahm to dd1(12yo) and dd2(6yo). Married 16 years.

I take it a step further and keep apple cider, cinnamon, cloves, other spices, and orange and lemon slices steaming together lightly on the stove. I add a cup or two of water if it simmers down too much in the afternoon. It smells great AND you can drink it.

I LOVE cinnamon sticks and cloves, especially around the holidays. It makes the whole house smell like Christmas.

Mostly cinnamon, sometimes I'll add cloves. I'll have to try adding vanilla.
