I am a Don Aslett cleaning fan from way back. He discusses the importance of proper floor mats to keep dust and dirt out of the house. He sold a line of them on QVC a few years back but they were like indoor/outdoor carpeting and I didn't feel like they did much.
I'd like to get mats that are somewhat absorbent, can get the dirt off of shoes and still look ok. These won't be decorative and prominent but I want them to look clean after being vacuumed. I've had other mats that were very deep and they were hard to keep looking nice because the vacuum didn't "reach" the lower spots.
