We have backyard chickens and the flies are crazy! Does anyone have an efficient homemade fly trap idea?. What do you use to control flies in the hot weather?.
Thanks so much
I take 2 liter soda bottle (just ask someone to save them for you...we had to as we don't drink soda!). Take the lid off and throw away. Cut the neck off just below where it starts to get wide. Flip that piece into the bottle and tape it on. Add liquid (about 2-4"). I use sweetened tea. They seem to really love that! And then set it outside. It will fill up! When full, throw away and start over again.
