I have heard of this! A friend mentioned this issue, though it occurred after the dryer stopped working. It turned out that moisture was getting caught in the dryer (from condensation, I think) and then trapped causing mildew/mold and a very bad odor. I hope it's not that, but probably something to get checked our with a repair person. Good luck!
