The last few years have been chaotic for our family.  There have been many places to live, and a lot of upheaval and making do with decor because it was a place we would only be 'for now'.

Our offer was acepted on the place we want to be long-term.  This is where the kids and I will live full time while my husband will work elsewhere, and be home when he is off.  As long as he has a space to sleep and access to a computer/gaming desk, he doesn't care about the rest of the house.  It just isn't something he thinks much about.

So now, I get to start to plan for how I want the house to look and feel, not just to make do with  the way it is. However, I need to live within budget constraints as I do it.

I am looking for inspiration photos, ideas, anything at all really.  I will be starting with a blank slate, and I am looking forward to being in a place that feels like home when I walk in the door. I just don't know where to start.
