We're moving back to the city and I'm trying to find a place that's far away from things like a gas station, dry cleaner, but also that pesky new light rail that's expanding in our city. So I'm curious if anyone might now just how far the radiation from these lines travel and what a safe distance would be.

I don't know the answer but I am with you on trying to find ways to stay away from too much electromagnetic radiation. It is awful- especially with cell phone towers popping up everywhere. I think it is quite challenging to find places to live away from excessive emf's these days and it troubles me too.

I bought an emf meter on amazon and I am so glad that I did. It answered any and all questions. You can also put it in a large purse and look down, if u want to be discreet. Mine is the tri field one

Thanks guys. I might buy one of those.

I since read that emf strength goes down significantly just a few feet away, so I'm not too concerned as long as I'm several blocks away. No, really, it's just too hard to live away from it all. Sigh....

I have read that is Sweden (and a few other places) the culture in general is more aware of the dangers of emf and does more to keep people protected form it than somewhere like in the US. Is this true?  tend to think of Sweden as a peaceful place in general but I have not ever been there so don't know. Is it nice therein terms of peace and quality of life?
