I need to get at least one for this house - any suggestions? I might have to put one into my sons room so I want that to be as safe in every way as possible.

Thanks!

we just bought one and took it back. It was too small for the space we needed it in.
Now fall is approaching, but next summer we will surly need to spring for a large unit to cover the basement.
Let us know what you find!

Look for energy effiecent. One dehymidifier can use as much electricity as an A/C unit. We have to run one year round in our basement. I hope when we seal the floor that won't be a continuous need.

Our's is noisy -- but also old.
