Most of the prices you listed are about the same, if not more, than my local Trader Joes. I think a lot of this has to do with region.
$1.29?!!! You have GOT to be kidding!

But we don't eat organic. So it's a horrendous price compared to $.49/can. That's over twice what I pay.

I thought they were talking about the big 28 oz size cans. Are those $.49 where you are??? Those are still 1.29 for conventional at my groceries.

Not all those who wander are lost

0.49 for store brand 15oz can of tomatoes sounds about right for non-organic, if you want ones that taste better, it's best to go with S & W brand, but you won't find those for 49 cents. But 1.49 for a 28 oz organic can is a great deal. They are high quality tomatoes too, not the seconds they use to make most store brands with.

You do understand that organic is more expensive than conventional, right?

TJ's has conventional canned tomatoes as well, but since I don't buy them I am not sure of the price. For ORGANIC it is a really good deal. You can't really compare prices on 2 completely different products, yk?

But I can't find OG tomatoes for that price anywhere else in town. Unless it is a killer sale or I have some really good coupons. Like when I got a bunch of Muir Glenn (organic) BIG cans of tomaotes 3/$1 at the beginning of summer. DH thought I was crazy for buying ,like, 50 cans. We haven't had to buy them again yet I should have bought more
