Alberta, $3.99-4:50 cdn for a gallon of milk, $10 or more for the same amount of organic milk, raw milk just not available unless you own your own cow.

In Ontario, Canada - I pay $4.59 for 1 gallon of milk. I haven no idea how much organic milk would be, I'd be afraid to even look.

Yesterday I paid $1.85 for one gallon of skim, farmer-pledged hormone free at Costco. We're on the NW Indiana side of Chicago.

I'm in the Triangle area of NC and I can get skim at BJs or on sale for $2.99. I hear that the dairy farmers are really struggling with the drastic drop in international demand and the dropping prices.

NE Ohio--$2.32 for skim at BJ's Wholesale. Marc's has it for $1.88 this week so I'll buy some for the freezer.

N. Texas....Around $3.69/gallon, I believe. We go thru 3 gallons a week for kefir, and raw is $8/gallon for both cow and goat. Soon we'll have milk goats, so that will be NICE!!!

I'm in central New Jersey. I can buy local milk for $2.66 a gallon. Supermarket organic milk is more like $6 a gallon. I don't know the price of the conventional not-organic supermarket milk, since we don't buy it.

I'm in south Florida and pay around $5 for a gallon of organic milk. Thats using coupons so it would cost $7 per gallon without.

We pay $9/gallon for organic/ non homogenized milk. It comes in 1/2 gal glass bottles with a $1.50 deposit each. Local raw is double. We're an hour south of San Francisco.

I can't believe these prices! I live in Louisiana, with tons of dairy farms around, and I pay $3.89 at Walmart, and 4.69 at Winn-Dixie. Why are we so expensive?

We don't usually buy gallon-sized containers of milk, just a half-gallon (1.89L). So, it's $3.99 for 1/2 gal. regular whole-fat stuff. Organic costs more, of course. Raw milk costs even more!

We're in SF Bay Area.

I'm in MI and we pay right around $2.50/gallon for regular store-bought non-organic milk. We usually get raw local milk for $6/gallon. We drink about equal parts of each, you do what you can, right?

I am in South Netherlands and we pay about $1.5 for a gallon if I did all the conversions correctly. That's for regular store bought.
