I woke up just in time to find M painting her nails. You read correctly, at 5:30 this morning my almost 3 year old had climbed up to one of the taller shelves in the linen closet and picked a lovely shade of pink and a bright blue to paint her nails (the complete toe and finger up to the 2nd joint). So by the time that was cleaned up and M washed her hands (and broke my soap dish) I had NO time for making food.

I'm going to let the pharmacy slide, that's 1/2 necessary. I'm stocking up our medicine cabinet for our move. I got 3 months of generic zyrtec, neutrogena soap for dh, hydrocortisone cream, antibiotic ointment, a small bottle of ibuprofen, and 8 oatmeal bath packets. The zyrtec alone is worth $17.

S-d D which made them three. M grew lonely, and now there's baby D.

Goals:
16/25 (Spending w/in Budget/No Spend Days)
$301.86 *to update*/$600 Groceries/Eating Out

A definite side benefit of this past week's uber busy schedule is I had zero time for shopping; financial drawback is that DH tends to eat out a bit more with the kids when I am working, but even he has been keeping that more in check. Need to update grocery/eating out expenses, and see where we stand for the month. Someday soon (September?) I would be delighted to finish the month in the black for food budget!

Take good care,
Kim :

Spent the night in the ER with dh . He is okay..he has been working too hard and had severe chest pains last night which turned out to be a gall bladder attack. Glad I took him in, his pain was bad and he needed a lot of morphine to get it under control.

I am counting today as a , but only because I had the sense to hide away $100 for emergencies after last month's trip to the er. I could go a long time without visiting another hospital.

Safer to stay out.

Awwww..... thank you for the pep talk. I know that $21 is no big deal.... we can definitely afford it..... it was just the principle of the thing, y'know? I was doing so well and sticking with it.

But that's OK. Back on the wagon. TARGET = EVIL.

I woke up late again. Maybe I need a different sound for my alarm. I also went way over my goal. Family will be here so they need something to eat.

S-d D which made them three. M grew lonely, and now there's baby D.

17:$150 for a new computer screen!!! Papa brought home toys for the kids with the groceries tonight. Hm, work must be picking up. I have to say, I am loving how much money my Diva Cup is saving me! Now I just need to make a few cloth liners. I already have some fabric, if i can find it!! Oh, and I bought (which day?) a skirt panel at Wal-Mart for $18. One of these days I'm going to start checking the prices BEFORE I buy! But as long as I actually finish the project, it'll be much cheaper than actually buying a skirt... so, . Oh, but no cloth diapers on the baby in days.

Learning & growing & changing everyday!

I have decided that I absolutely cannot live another day without a neti pot and a new salad spinner.

Talk me down, ladies.
