This is fun! We used to eat out all the time, but we've had to make some major changes in the past few months and I'm really beginning to enjoy making dinner every night.

1. Japanese chicken curry with rice
2. Potato, bacon and onion frittata with salad and cheddar biscuits
3. Leftover curry over french fries (Not at all healthy, but yummy!)
4. Pork tenderloin medallions with mustard sauce, rice and green beans
5. Had a funeral that day, so leftovers
6. Roast chicken stuffed with lemon and onion, with potatoes and carrots
7. Spaghetti and leftover turkey chili
8. Frozen cheese pizza and salad
9. Casserole: leftover roast chicken, egg noodles, cheddar cheese soup & peas
10. Out to dinner with bereaved in-laws (it's necessary, but I'm already grudging the money before we spend it. Things are really tight right now. ) *ETA: BIL paid for dinner! He really didn't have to do that, it was so kind of him. Now we're in better shape for the week.
11. Outback Steakhouse with my mother (!?) - she insisted
12. Crockpot beans, rice and sausage that turned into a tasty soup.
13. Sauteed chicken paillards with lemon, garlic and butter with salt baked potatoes
14. Lasagna and salad

I just lurked last month and found the thread inspiring. DH and DS2 are spending a few days away (grandma's and a job interview so things will get a bit wonky.

1-- Dh and kids had tacos. I had a work potluck and slacked and brought nothing
2--Dh made curry
3--bean, veggie, and a tiny amount of leftover ham soup with cornbread
4--homemade pizza
5--chili
6-chili dogs(so not my favorite, but everybody else liked it) raw veggies and dip, baked beans
7--homemade oven baked fries, sauted veggies (mostly swiss chard), and frozen breaded fish (they were on sale and really inexpensive)
8--? leftovers (it will be just ds1 and I)/ended up with leftover jarred alfredo sauce, noodles and peas
9--blueberry pancakes and bacon (DH has this weird aversion to breakfast for dinner) so DS thinks it's a big treat to have pancakes for supper
10- ate out (Mexican) on the way home from a short day trip. We did pack a lunch though. DH went out too. Until then he had eaten at his mom's or brother's this trip.
11--shrimp pho with veggies
12--DS1 remembered there was lasagne in the freezer (usually I'm not much of a feed the freezer kind of gal. It will be handy tonight.
13--DH and DS2 came home. We ended up going out for sushi and it was nice. The kids ate well, everyone enjoyed it, and we had our first meal together in nearly a week. I only feel a little guilty
14-pork chops, squash, mashed pototos, and gravy.
15--I dunno whatever DH makes

'k, I'm not keeping up very well with checking in. We've only had one eat out meal this month, which was planned (and only $10 and was good for 2-3 meals). I found out I have to eat gluten free so that's even more incentive to eat at home. I love home cooking

15--I dunno whatever DH makes. He ended up making brats and hot dogs.
16--chicken chow mein with rice
17--DH made some delicious Indian shepard's pie with ground lamb, veggies, curry powder and pureed squash insteaded of mashed potatos (It was really good). I am making a white bean and kale soup with fresh bread for supper.
