An Angel Food Ministries host site FINALLY opened up in this area, and I am so thankful! I also discovered another food program called Treasure Box (seems to only be in California and Arizona right now, but they may eventually expand) which seems similar to AFM, but I haven't been able to try it out yet (the host site is an hour away, but I might be able to schedule some errands in that area around that).

I'm wondering what other programs like that are out there... I know about Great Food For All, but there aren't any here.

There's this one but it's on the east coast. http://sharefoodprogram.org/ (Just in case anyone from the east coast is wondering and can benefit)

ETA: People could probably call their local WIC (or county DHS) offices and ask them. I'd bet they have a list of programs?

I was all excited at first, but it looks like it's only for Southern California.

Still, I'm sure a lot of people can benefit from the link.
