Every year about this time I run my name thru this website and last year I got lucky.  With the economy being a bit 'chilly' I figure eveyone should get whats due them.  Last year I got a few hundred dollars that was due me.  No such luck this year but maybe someone one here can get a back paycheck, forgotten about bank account etc.

**there is NO FEE for this service, no where in the process should you have to pay to get your money**

Looks like dh has $5-10 that he is owed. Since I'm doing the leg work, I think I will get to keep it!

thanks! I found 4 that i think might be for DH and it adds up to a good amount... but I'm not 100% positive it's him... it's not a super common name but there might be others with the same name out there...

sending in the paperwork at any rate & then I'll just see what happens

How do you know the amount? I found mine and filed the form online to claim (old paycheck) but it doesn't say the amount I don't think.  Either that or I'm not looking in the right place.

Doesn't work for my state. Just get an error message. I guess they're not giving up any money that they may have found.

Wait... I have something here in AK! Under my maiden name... unknown amount and type. Hmm...

ETA: And something from WAY back in Minnesota. Craziness.

Merry Christmas to ME. Mama's gettin' a new cell phone! Or, really, probably just paying rent and mortgage (long story, we pay both).

My deceased great aunt is owed about $10k but has 50 or so heirs and it would be a nightmare to disburse. I got the claim form, though.

Depending on how long she has been deceased it could just refer back to her 'will'.  Or it could be yours since you claimed it.  These things are very strange when you go to claim them.  Good luck!

I'm so glad some folks are getting whats been waiting for them.!

My Alaska one got back to me... they're sending me a check for $25.

No word yet from Minnesota... that one said "Over $100," so I'm slightly more excited for that thumb.gif.

Guess that's better than nothing, but if I mail to mail in the forms the stamp will cost more than the reward!

Thanks much. I didn't find anything for myself but by searching a couple of family names I found around $500 for my extended family. Last year I found a few hundred dollars for different people too.

I have a question.  Dh's deceased mom has $86 on there.  I selected that he is the legal heir, and when it takes me to the next page, do I put in HIS information, or his moms?

Wow, sweet, I found DH on there!! It doesn't say how much (for anyone) but can't wait to find out! I remember I did this a few years ago and that I found myself on a neighboring state's list because... I think... hmm, I think it was because a previous employer's main offices were out of that state....
