,Our family finances are a disaster. We're not at banrupcy level yet, but getting close. What I really need is a third person, a trained, realistic third person, to sit down with DH and me and come up with a plan. There are communication issues involved, so even though I, personally, am fairly good with finances (though not excellent), I need help from someone else to get a our income and expenses back on track. We also have a family business that is part of the picture, and it is mainly our income that is the problem, not our expenses.

Mom to DD 8 and DS 6.

Check out Catholic Charities.  I recently found out they do money management workshops for kids, so I assume they help adults with financial planning, too.  You do not need to be Catholic.

Mom to eight!!  Our twin girls arrived 3-3-2011.
