I have another thread here about my husband's business not doing well. I'm not sure I'm getting accurate information from him about the current status and future projections. Whenever I point out the outstanding debts, he points to the accounts receivables and explains how that means he'll be able to pay the bills soon. But since the bills seem to be getting higher, it seems that there's more going on.
I'm wondering if there's an agency or professional I can take our financial statements to for an objective analysis? If so, how would I find one? Any idea how much it would cost? For various reasons I'd rather not use the business's regular accountant.
I'm a 50% owner/member of the business, so there are no legal or confidentiality issues with me getting this kind of analysis.
I'd suggest starting with your CPA to obtain referrals for a consultant/businss which can provide this type of service.
Mama to a dd 10/05; ds 3/09, dd 2/15 and two angels. Expecting another miracle 7/16!
