Has anyone done this?  I didn't even think this was possible, but it seems so according to my state's uemployment web site.  I've sent them an email inquiry (they discourage phone calls on certain days, I just tried to call) but am wondering if anyone here's had experience with this.  Thanks!

Yes, at least in my state -- as long as your earnings meet their minimum requirement. I didn't think I was eligible either but when we finally got through the phone lines, I was told I would be eligible (although I never ended up filing because I ended up on disability instead, but they seemed pretty sure I would've been approved). There is a catch though, I think... in my state you do need to be available & actively looking for full-time work to receive UE. Sometimes there are ways around this but it would have to get special approval.

Yes, you are most likely eligible for UE. File and see what happens.
