I have another thread explaining why, but I need credit/financial counseling, someone who works with small businesses (mainly) but also personal finances.
I've never done this before and don't know what to look for in a good agency, or even how to find one.
I've read your other post and my first reaction is don't do it. You have to be very careful, because there are a lot of credit counseling agencies that are scams. Furthermore, from what I have been told (I don't know if it's 100% true) but they actually do more harm than good.
I would check your local credit unions as a good place to start, though. My credit union has a company they refer people to.
