Anyone have straight talk? Like it or not?

What is a good place to buy a no contract phone?

Thanks!

I have virgin mobile (and had them for almost 10 years now).  Currently I have 1200 minutes, unlimited text and web for $45 month.  I got the phone at target for under $100 a year ago.  They seem to run off the sprint network if I remember correctly and I've never had a problem with them.  Traveled all over the US and things were fine.  I think you can get unlimited minutes for $55 a month but I honestly dont talk that much.

I have StraightTalk..My parents got me a $60 slide phone about 4 years ago for my birthday and it is still going strong..I usually buy the $30 a month plan and have never had a problem with them at all..The $45 plan is the way to go if you are endless with talking, texting and love being on the net..I don't talk much...Text fairy often and mainly use the net when downloading a pic and I never run out of time before I have to buy another card...I have free WiFi where I live so I don't need it on the phone much...So the smaller plan works for me..

I think the only place that sells the cards is Walmart or you can get them online using autofill...

I have an iPhone with ST. It cost 100 for a 3GS. It has to be AT&T so that it has a SIM card & if you buy it this way it runs on AT&T. If you want an iPhone to run on ST (Verizon) you have to buy a 4 or a 4S or a 5 directly from WalMart for full price.

ST gives away free phones a lot. They are sorta basic but: free! If you get a Smart Phone with them, it only runs on the 45 unlimited plan, only flip phones run on the 1000/1000/25mb plan.

You can find used phones on ebay and I have had great luck finding them on a local facebook group, check to see if your area has a buy/sell/trade page. I got an ATT iphone 3 for 30.00 :) it worked great until I dropped it, then the screen cracked, still worked well though. I got my husband a used phone on ebay, the seller had good ratings and you can also get a warranty added from square trade for about 20.00. Just search for AT&T or unlocked GSM phone
