Feeling kind of blah today. I had the urge to go out to lunch with DH, but resisted. We used to go out to lunch at least once a week, but have really reformed our habits. Now that I've gotten out of the habit of doing it, it's much easier to resist the temptation. Although I wanted to go, I didn't feel disappointed/deprived when I decided against it. This is progress.
Posting because I'm not leaving the house today, so it will be a no spend.
Tomorrow will be a big day. It's my scheduled Wednesday off. I'll drop the kids off at a friend's house, go out to lunch with DH (planning to use a Panera gift card I'd forgotten I had), then to the bank to close an old account and add the money to our emergency fund. And finally, do our Christmas shopping. I am planning to pay cash for the gifts. DH and I will sit down tonight and finalize the list, so there won't be any unexpected surprises.
And speaking of Christmas, I'm making fleece PJs for all of the kids... I should go work on that now, while they're too engrossed in other activities to notice what I'm doing
