Day 1: $625.62
Day 2: NO Spending
Day 3:: I spent $3.09 at the $ store on coconut milk stuff,a muffin mix (in order to save some pears that are turning) and a can of black beans I also spent $1.99 on a bag of onions

I made a nice curry dish tonight using what I had from the pantry. All I had to buy was some onions and some coconut milk (it was just $1.09). This dish should last me about 4 days. It needs more curry though!!! I also made a pot of pasta sauce using one of the onions and since I have lots of pasta I shouldn't have to buy much in the way of groceries with the $10 that I have left until payday.

Hi!
I am a sahm to 4 kids, we homeschool, husband has a job in sales (technology) and the current market is very unpredictable/undependable. BUT, he still has a job and we so very very grateful. We take home about $2200 a month. My husband just attended Dave Ramsey Live this past weekend and are pumped!

b. Where you are going (our short-term financial goals)

- Save $1000 for Emergency Fund
-get 6-month food and essentials storage (including TP, essential oils, etc)
-Pay off car loan of $5545
-Pay off personal loan $2000
-Save 3-6 months of living expenses

c. How you plan to get there
-do not spend $ on anything absolutely unnecessary
-once $1000 is put away, use that monthly payment to pay towards car
-once the car is paid, use that $ to go toward personal loan, etc, etc
-never eat out by planning ahead as well as make homemade treats
-use the resource of free clothes drop in my town
-use it up, wear it out, or go without
-keep track of all spending
-forgo more expensive organic foods temporarily, unless it's the same price as conventional (sometimes organic is cheaper!)
-be grateful for everything I have, and welcome abundance

So far we've spent (other than bills)
our first $100 into Emergency fund
$36 on 3 mo. toilet paper
$25 on one box of contacts (which I get 20% from brother who is an Optometrist)

Made my grocery run today. My first day back on the Grocery Game wagon after a 6+ month hiatus. Retail was $122.02. After sales and coupons $46.44: I stocked up on toothpaste and tooth brushes, canned veggies, batteries and dish soap. I also got fresh produce for the week and three packages of chicken breasts. Since grocery shopping is a necessity, I don't think I'm going to count it as a spend day unless I get something that wasn't on my list.

1: budgeted necessary spending
2:: $200 unbudgeted necessary spending, $16 unnecessary spending
3:
4:

2/20 no spend days
0/15 let the car rest days:
$16/$100 unnecessary spending
$46.44/$400 Grocery spending

(£34.18 Xmas gifts but bought with money that was given to me plus my dh spent £9 on an Xmas gift for DS2)

Nov 3rd: £7 on playgroups for this week (budgetted) DH spent 60p ( no doubt on a soda or some chocolate!)
Nov 4th: No spend! DH spent £3.50 on dinner at work but he reckons he is claiming this on expenses - hmmm, we'll see ?!?
