Hi! Maybe I can get some ideas!!!!
We are a family of 5--2 adults, a 4 year old, 19 months, and 7 months. We're eating low-carb lifestyle, mostly to lose weight but also to get the bad junk food habits we've gotten ourselves into lately. We'd like to focus our meals on chicken, not really red meats (I don't care too much for the taste and cost). We do tend to eat a lot of eggs but my 4.5 year old won't eat them at all. My kids will be eating more carbs than us, so I'll be giving them things like bagels, toast (oatmeal bread), oatmeal with fruit, baked potatoes.
Our budget is $300-$350 a month...so it is a little tight. What I'm wondering is if anyone has any ideas for me! I can't think of any frugal meals that don't involve a baked chicken breast and a side of scrambled eggs!!!!
Any help..... would be EXTREMELY appreciated! Thanks
