I have company coming over tomorrow for DD's birthday. We are usually a one-dish family, so I'm not used to thinking about multiple dishes. Help me figure out what's missing.

Eggplant casserole (will be very hearty, lots of veggies and cheese and pasta and such)
Sweet Italian sausage
Robust salad

Um, so what else? Should I bake a loaf of bread maybe? Or make another side dish? Or maybe even another main course? I could do this yummy rice and beans dish, or a stir fry, but I don't know if those really "go" with the above. Or maybe it doesn't matter! I could do something with potatoes maybe. Any ideas?

Homeschooling mama to 6 year old DD.

I think bread and/or potatoes sounds good! My boys love roasted potatoes so we eat those alot.

That sounds yummy.

Yes, I'd add a loaf of bread...and I think you'd be set.
