I am so frustrated! I look for pork shoulders every time I shop, and they are SO hard to find!! So - today I thought I finally did.... but didn't notice it was pre cooked. Darnit! I was so excited for crockpot pulled pork!!

You know how you get your heart set on something ??? Now I want to cry! Over pork, for crying out loud! ha! Help me, mamas!!

This is what it is - how do you think I should cook, eat and serve it??

it says it's smoked/cooked.. can you shred it and top with bbq sauce? the depth of flavor won't be as nice but it should make good pulled pork.

I think that what you bought is a ham..... I'd just cook it in your favorite ham recipes.

Yeah, what you've got is a shoulder ham. They are great, but understand that it just wasn't what you were hankering for. Just cook it like you would any ham, or cut it up and use it in casseroles, etc...You can still cook it covered, and it'll fall apart eventually.
