I came on line to ask for a good crockpot cookbook. All the ones I get at the library are awful.

BUT now I see a post about LEAD in crockpots which has me really concerned about using ours especially because we do have some lead paint in our apartment.

I'm the one that posted about the lead in crockpot query. I don't have a good answer about this one yet. I just used the crockpot 2 times in the last 24 hours...It is worrisome but I am not sure exactly HOW worrisome at this point.

And for crockpot cookbooks (whole foods) I like "fresh from the the vegetarian slow cooker" and "not your mothers slow cooker cookbook."
