I need to go to the store but I'm planning on making Salisbury Steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli..

Trying to make the cheapest meals I can that are still as healthy as possible because we are on a tight budget right now. I just spent about half an hour carefully planning out meals that overlap ingredients so that my grocery list is less expensive. I'm actually pretty darn proud of myself for what I came up with. 14 meals planned for less than $90.. And I'm usually over on my money guesstimations but we will see how I do at the store this afternoon. Whew!

Migraine here, so husband made chicken noodle soup. I'm hoping comfort food helps me feel better, because Tylenol isn't even coming close to putting a dent in it.

Quick black bean tacos for dinner with half-homemade salsa (canned diced tomatoes, jalapeno, red onion), storebought guacamole, sour cream, cheese.

Tomorrow homemade sushi if I have enough energy!

What no dinners tonight??
Today was my big shopping/errand day so I got a rotisserie at SAMs club. I also like to get their big containers of feta. So I made a semi-Greek salad with cut up chicken and Homemade dressing.
Tomorrow I'll probably make buffalo chicken dip with the rest of the rotisserie. It's so good. It's filling so I make it for a dinner. I know not the healthiest dinner but I don't make it often. The kids will have something else for sure!

We did Italian sausage with onions and peppers in buttered/grilled hot dog buns. And that, my friends, is why they make New England style buns

Thanks - much better than the other day. I seriously thought it was never going to end.

Tonight I was out grocery shopping, so I threw together spaghetti with Italian sausage and jarred marinara sauce when I got home.

That's one we do at least once a week - always yummy and so easy.

Tonight I had dinner out with a friend, and tomorrow other friends are coming over, so we're doing tacos - corn/flour tortillas, black beans, ground beef, toppings & cucumber-pineapple salad.

I would kill (well, almost) for seafood and chocolate cake. That sounds amazing.

I'll be at an appointment during supper-making time, so I'm not sure what we'll end up with. Yikes. I'd better figure something out for DH and DD to cook while I'm gone!

I wish I had chocolate anything. I'm just feeling way to lazy to bake.

Had about 20 minutes in between work and husband leaving for work to get dinner on the table, so I made beans and franks with baked potatoes.

We ended up with mostly-homemade pizza and an end-of-the-week (i.e. mostly lettuce) salad.

My secret for end-of-the-week salads is tapenade and sun-dried tomatoes. :-) Not the same as fresh, but a little more interesting.

Yesterday We had buffalo chicken dip that I made with the leftover rotisserie. I made Mac n cheese with peas and carrots for the kids. Then orange Julius for desert. In have a lot of odds and ends in the fridge that need to be eaten so if we don't get it eaten up at lunch it may be a leftover night. If not I'll make sloppy joes. ( homemade of course )

Home made sloppy joes are the best - and so easy!

Husband is working tonight, so I'll probably do either Thai noodle soup or some kind of noodle bowl dish. Not sure yet.
