We went with an asian-y noodle soup, too. With chicken and baby bok choy. Not very good. I always make the broth too weak to stand up to the blandness of bok choy.

Well, we ended up tabling that - I came home to a fully made dinner, which was great. Husband made pan-fried pork chops, baked potatoes and corn.

And yeah, I hear you about the broths - always have to have double-strength to stand up to greens like that!

It was miserable hot here today, but fortunately dinner was fixed by someone else while I was out of the house.

We had oven fried chicken, sliced watermelon, and baked beans for the vegetarian.

Yesterday I didn't have time to cook so we were forced to order Chinese. I made the Indonedian fried rice today using leftover White rice. Served with stir fried asparagus and red pepper strips.

We had some BBQ pork, assorted cut veggies with dip, strawberries and mango, baked sweet potatoes and garlic bread. I've love to mix things but both of my kids and DH are picky about food texture, so mixed texture is a no no. I usually serve every veggie and side separately.

Today's will be sausages, soup, French bread, zucchini and some melons.

I have one like that, too! My DD1 and I take stuff and mix the whole plate together, but DD2 doesn't like "chunks" to the point of gagging sometimes. And it's a visual thing - she can't feed the dog or cats their wet food because it's chunky. Even the word "chunky" turns her stomach. Whew, just sympathizing a bit

Hello ladies! Last night we had steak in the grill. Veggie pasta salad and broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. It was delicious!! Tonight I'm making BBQ chicken legs on the grill. We will probably eat leftover pasta salad or I'll make potatoes.

I had no idea what to make for dinner tonight, but husband suggested Norwegian meatballs, so I did those, despite the humidity. Made noodles and served ligonberries alongside.

Whew, haven't posted in here for a few days! It's been busy. It's also been crazy hot, so finding things that don't require turning on the stove is a must.

Dinner a few nights ago was tuna salad served on top of salad greens with cucumbers, carrots, and tomatoes.

Tonight we had homemade BBQ pork (or BBQ tempeh) sandwiches with coleslaw.

Hot and yucky here so it's either going to be curry chicken in the crock pot with garlic rice and quinoa blend or leftover smorgasbord.
