THe sliced tofu with bbq sauce looks yummy. What sides do you serve it with. How do you make your own BBQ sauce?

Anyone make their own waffles?
Sorry I went MIA a couple of days.

The lentil recipe (in my own words, but from Hamlyn vegitarian cookbook)

6oz lentils rinced
3/4 pint cold water
1 large onion (chopped)
4 tablespoons wholemeal flour
2 tablespoons mixed fresh herbs (I use whatever I have around)
salt / pepper to taste

boil lentils in saucepan and reduce heat and simmer. Simmer 30 - 40 minutes. Let cool.

Mix other ingrediants together and form patties. Shallow fry patties in oil.

The BBQ sause I just kind of wing. It's mostly ketchup, a splash of soy sauce, a teaspoon or so of brown sugar (sometimes honey). Onion salt, garlic powder (you are supposed to saute onion and garlic yeah right I have 3 kids we use powder / onion salt . It doesn't take exactly like the packaged stuff, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper.
