So, I have a package of havarti and a package of swiss in the fridge that need to be eaten. Ideas?

I have pretty much every staple I'd need, any dairy, eggs, beef, chicken, shrimp, lamb. Um, tomatoes and peppers out the wazoo. And some eggplant and squash in there, too. Oh, and lettuce. I could go get anything else I'd need.

Just looking for new ideas.

Ohhhhh, yum!

I was just in your shoes with the Havarti so I'll give you my 2 favorites - lentil loaf or (my all time favorite) fresh bread, sliced, Havarti, melted on top with your choice of vegetables, sauted (mushrooms. onions, peppers, tomatoes, squash...... yum). Add a bottle of red, or a good wheat beer... My all time favorite meal.

With the swiss - I'd just do a casserole - hopefullt someone else can give you other ideas!

Have fun

I love Havarti with turkey on a panini grill and swiss in some kind of casserole. I made a mushroom casserole with homemade cream of mushroom soup that was yummy....not really a recipe though, just through together
