These are things we can't just get rid of, since we do need them sometimes in especially cold weather or especially bad body fluid spillage weeks (anyone with kids or pets knows what I mean there). But they take up a ton of room. We don't really have any closet or underbed space, and anyway I don't want them to get dirty or dusty.

can you rearrange a closet or declutter some things to make room?

any room in a cabinet? bookshelf? the trunk of a car?

Depending on how many extras you have, maybe a blanket rack?

Take care,

We keep ours in those "space bags" under the bed. They get squished way down when you vacuum the bag, but are easy to access (zip-lock opening), and then it's not too much work to put them back in and vacuum tight when they need to be stored again.

We have a footstool in the living room that has storage inside it (it's from IKEA). There's one large comforter in it now, and it could easily fit at least one more.

Some people put them in between their bed and box springs. It works pretty well if you don't need them often. We have a steamer trunk that we use.

Can you pull your bed out about a foot from the wall and put them in that space?

We store a lot of stuff back there, blankets and extra pillows on top for easy access. You can't see it behind the headboard.

Yes, this!

We also have our chest of drawers sitting caddy corner in our bedroom and I use the space behind it for the extra blankets and pillows.

since we didnt have a headboard, I made one using a blanket.. just get a curtain rod and either screw it to the wall with it's hooks, or hang it with sturdy ribbon, then "hang" a blanket over the rod.. makes a comfy headboard, and it's easy to grab an extra blanket in the middle of the night.
