I just put out 3 large boxes and 3 large garbage bags of stuff on the curb for a charity truck that is coming around today! I am so thrilled to see this stuff gone.
The funny thing is that I don't even remember what is in the bags/boxes. I started working weeks ago and I made it my policy to seal each up as it got full and not look in again.
I also have to say that much of this stuff was in storage while we were overseas for 3 years. Other than the furniture and 2-3 special items the whole lot could have disappeared without much thought from me. We didn't have a choice when it came to putting our things in storage (military move with very little notice and tiny weight allowance), but I'm always amazed that people think self-storage will solve their clutter problems. I vow that if we get overseas orders again, the only thing going in storage will be furniture. For everything else its either useful or its not.
