I've been in my house close to 9 years. The previous owners had some track lighting in the family room. I've HATED that track lighting a lot for the last 3 years. So I had an architect/designer friend some help me yesterday.

WHO KNEW I could replace those giant ugly spotlights with tiny small new ones? Seriously, I had no idea you could swap out the lights for different kinds. I'm SO MUCH happier in the family room with new small, clean lights in the track. And the lights were like $10 a piece or something.

Third generation WOHM. I work by choice.

yep, track lighting has really come a long way! we chose to do track lighting in our kitchen remodel over installing recessed lighting as it was cheaper and less of a mess.......not to mention it would have meant some possible structural changes.

we LOVE how inconspicuous they are too!
