I'm overwhelmed by my house. Usually I'm so embarrassed by it all that I even avoid this forum. In general, I need to learn to ask for help. I spend all my time in the forums where I can give answers but I think I need to ask more questions - so

What do I do with a bag full of girl scout "swaps" that my "lucky" daisy girl scout obtained from another TROOP after they had given them all out to everyone? These are basically large safety pins with colorful ribbon tied to them.

Yes I am crafty but not to the tune of dozens of 4" ribbons. I don't scrap book. There are literally THOUSANDS of these sorts of things (not the swaps, but random stuff) in my house. Random stuff that I DO NOT know what to do with. I thought I would ask the random questions here.

Third generation WOHM. I work by choice.

Thrift store, chruches for sunday school projects, schools for art projects, daycares. No one will likely want all of it, but you could parcel it out to each one in manageable sizes, then throw anything left away.

I'm not home during the day so I haven't really gotten into free cycle - like waiting around for someone to get the stuff. Plus my kid would see it going out which could be bad. Maybe the local day care or Sunday school would want them. There are about 20 or so.
