Today my clutter led to a clothes catastrophe! I opened the closet in our bedroom and found the railing in the closet that holds the clothes had collapsed! It looked like there had been an earthquake in our bedroom...

Well the cause is that the woodchip that the screws were nailed into, had deteriorated, as our house is not that new. And we had waaaay too many clothes hanging up...mostly DH's shirts. I told him afterwards 'told you so..." about how many shirts he has and I have been asking him to go through them for the past year at least.

Anyway disaster has led to some serious reassessing of clothes and I have already thrown quite a few this evening and will be throwing more in the morning. All to go to Vinnies.

It's funny how something bad happening can force you to make good changes....
