We just moved into this house about 7 months ago so we still have A LOT that we want to do, but this is it for now. I also have a lot of things I need to add to the walls.. obviously!

If you have any suggestions I would love them!

This is just my downstairs- it is an open floor plan.

colors of walls- the kitchen is a light green (looks lighter in the pictures ) family room is gold/yellow (looks more yellow in pics than it really is- we also rarley have the light on in this room) eating area is a blueish color- looks darker than it really is

I love the fact that you can see into the rooms from the kitchen

The only thing I would change/add is to add some live plants here and there where you can. I think it looks great.

I love your kitchen. I love the mirror above the stove top, the open cabinets where the microwave sits and above and the soothing art work.

Great job,

I think the kitchen is overall, very nice, but might add a plant to the counter overlooking the living room, on the left side.

The dining room wall opposite the opening to the living room looks blank. I'd add a cluster of 3 nature prints there, and perhaps a tall plant on the floor in the corner, or by the back door. I'd have the prints be something with a beige or light brown background, similar to the wooden clock you have up. I think prints of native flowers might be appropriate.

I'd also add a large piece of art on the living room wall to the left of the TV. I think the art you have in the kitchen is finger painting? I LOVE the colors, and think the yellow of the living room calls for something vibrant as well, in similar colors.

YMMV!

We also added a live plant to the kitchen area. My husbands not a fan of it but I think it really adds some good color! I also changed the pillows which I love. Not seen in this picture, but we added a fake plant inside the fire place which I like.
