I decluttered my breast pump supplies.

I decluttered my fiction (and got rid of 17 books--hard for me). Many of the books I got rid of were Erica Jong novels. I've been feeling discontented with her books lately and recently said to DH that I might get rid of some. Then I read an article of her attacking attachment parenting--and that put me over the edge. Out the books went!

I washed 2 loads of laundry and am about to put a load of diapers in for the first wash. One load is dry and one load is about to go into the dryer.

I spent a little time daydreaming and came up with the perfect Christmas present for DS, which is to be a collaborative effort with DSD. Years ago I wrote a children's story from the perspective of a beloved cat who has since passed away. DSD loves to draw, so I thought I could have her illustrate the book. I plan to construct it from scratch and maybe laminate the pages. The cover will be cardboard, maybe with some fabric glued on and the pages sewn together. I'm actually very excited about this. I definitely want to make this a constructive daydream by following through.

Overall, I didn't get a lot accomplished today. I plan to make breakfast for an easy supper and to let DH relax when he gets home from work as he isn't at all feeling well. greensad.gif

phathui5, awesome on the potty training!

Wow, Okimom, you have an awesome husband! Good luck, too, on your crafts!

clutterwarrior and *bejeweled*, awesome job!

What a nice idea for a present. You got a lot done today. Creativity often flourishes when we are not "busy". winky.gif

Hi everyone.

So far today I have:

emptied dishwasher

made coffee

had shower

Today I have to take DD on a practice run for getting to work experience at a restaurant next week, so I probably won't get much done round the house. Will see how energetic I feel when I get home.  wink1.gif

I am jumping in on this! I love the accountability! My house looks like a bomb went off, mostly laundry. I have 2 little ones, 2 and 3, and they don't help too much either :)

DH is home today, but we have a large list

Today I've done

- a load of dishes, got DS off to school

- made several important phone calls.

I hope to accomplish

-folding all laundry

- clean the livingroom, diningroom, kitchen and play room. They are all one big space

Okay, isign, sounds like you're off to a good start.  I'll make a bathroom run, then it's back to the kid's room again.  (Oh heaven help me, I have neglected their room for waaay tooo looong!  I've got to figure out how to throw out at least 1/2 of their toys, LOL!)

Hi MomtoS.  I hit "reload" on this page, and was able to see your posts.  Sounds like you are making very nice progress!  What kind of "bark" are you making???  As for me-- I can see the floor in the girl's room.  I have a bags of 3T, 4T, 5T and 6T clothes sorted, as well as clothes, books and toys to get rid of.  Still...there is just.so.much.  Ugh!  They don't have the biggest room in the world, but it is packed.  No wonder we can never see the floor!  Arrrrgh!

Thanks...I did get to see them. The first time I hit reload they didn't show up....I don't know why.

Done making all the white chocolate, pistasho, cranberry bark.

Now white/dark chocolate Oreo cookie bark.

More sorting. I have two and a half bags ready to donate.

Now I must go shower and head out for a little bit.

Hi Mamas!  This thread has been so motivating for me.  So far today, I have:

- unloaded & reloaded the dishwasher

- put away the toys, books, puzzles, and art supplies strewn around the living room & dining room

- started a load of laundry

I'm hoping to:

- start another load of laundry

- get them both folded & put away

- spend 15 minutes decluttering a messy bookshelf

- wipe down bathroom sink & counter

- make dinner

- dinner dishes/kitchen clean-up

- rest & enjoy the evening with my girls and DH!

Banana Bread made!

Library Book renewed!

Also, we just received notification of an overnight house guest tomorrow, and I could just accept, knowing that with a few small touches, our home is` company ready. That felt so good. Of course, I have to sweep, mop, vacuum and give the bathroom a good cleaning. Those things shouldn't take too long, though. And then our home will also be ready for my DSD's arrival.

Happy cleaning to all~~

After finding out I'm off the next couple of days because my work schedule is messed up (shorting my hours, but that's another thread/forum), I was wide awake and at loose ends while everyone else was sleeping last night.

I folded all the laundry (3-4 loads worth)

I cleaned up in the front room (3 sessions each of picking up and putting away 100 items, each only took a couple of minutes and it made a BIG difference, though that room still has a ways to go)

Today, I've cooked dinner for the 2nd night in a row, and we got DD's school work done for the 3rd day in a row. This evening DD and I are going to have a sewing session. To that end, I'm going to go now and work in the front room again--this time with a focus on the craft table, so we actually have ROOM to sew. If I'm lucky, I'll even find my sewing scissors.

Ravin, Welcome to the thread! LOL about the table!

Awesome cleaning Ravin, CariofOz, *bejeweled* & Welteee!!!

I meant to post earlier today, started to, got distracted and completely forgot. Anyhow, I had a fairly productive day.

I made the bed

Swept and mopped the kitchen, bathroom, pantry and utility room

vacuumed the living room and bedroom

cleaned the bathroom (toilet, tub & sink, plus washed mirror)

cleaned the kitchen

cleaned the living room

cleaned the bedroom

brought DH to work after his doctor's appointment and picked him up from work

went to my hair appointment (with my DS as DH is not feeling well)

put away and washed dishes

washed a load of laundry and am transferring it to the dryer

DH scooped the litter box

DH made mock tuna salad for supper

Now we're anticipating our overnight guest.

Phew~
