Can someone kick me in the pants for motivation today? It's almost 2pm here and I'm still in my pjs!

I really need to get cleaning done on my house, but first I need to take 15 minutes to get *me* cleaned up.

I'll be back to update with progress!

15 minutes done and I got a load of wool longies and shorties and got the stains out of them and now they are soaking in the tub. I also got most of my counter cleaned off (it had become a major hotspot!)

Now onto downstairs. I'm not sure what I'll find down there but I will tackle 15 minutes worth.

Awesome job, triscuitsmom! I'm still in my pjs and am enjoying a leisurely Sunday.

Today I put away the dishes, washed dishes, cleaned the counter, separated laundry, washed diapers and transfered them to the dryer, put another load of laundry in the washer, put away clothes I'd previously folded/hung, folded and put away previous load of diapers, cleared a hot spot in the bedroom and started writing a letter to my pen pal. Plus, I made lunch for DH and myself.

Good afternoon. I just cleaned up and changed out of my pjs. It's 2 pm here.

I'm feeling good. The grocery shopping is done and we have plenty of food for the week.

Today I:
*made breakfast
*cleaned the kitchen
*made the bed
*took a long nap
*made lunch
*took out the trash
*made a quick run to the drugstore
*am on my way to study

*bejeweled*, I am so jealous of your long nap!

I forgot to say that I also made the bed. Now I'm off to write an overdue letter to my pen pal.

Later today I plan to bake a loaf of bread (trying out my bread machine that I recently "found" in a bout of decluttering), maybe make some pie crusts to freeze, fold & put away all the laundry that I wash today and decide what to do with the few things remaining in the closet and utility room. Maybe I'll get around to meal planning for the week, as well.

ETA: Plan and prepare a healthy dinner!

I too am jealous of the long nap

I got downstairs and ended up spending an hour sorting clothes and switching from summer to winter stuff. I got almost all of DS3 and DS2 done and the rest of ours sorted into piles to tackle

Now I'm taking a break and nursing the baby

I need to get the diapers from the dryer and put them away. The oven is on self-clean. The dishes in the dishwasher need to be put away. I've been up since 3 am (Pacific, its 1 now) taking DH and younger DD to the airport so they can fly to DH's family's home for his grandmother's funeral. (The baby went for 2 reasons: so everyone can meet her and so I don't have to scramble for child care for her while I work. I got permission from my supervisor to go in after I get the older kids off to school and then go home when they get off and work from home. I have child care coming in 2 days next week, though. So I can go back to work at that time. The baby was weaned a long time ago, so no breastfeeding issues there.) So, my day is off-kilter. I'd like the house nice and clean when they get home.

Wow! Everyone has been so productive! I took yesterday off, went to church and slept like 4 1/2 hours in the afternoon. Good thing I did too since I was sick to my stomach all night (this kid doesn't like anything sweet, literally, one piece of snack size candy and Im sick all night) I was up most of it. Hopefully since I got in the nap I can have energy today.

While I was up last night I did the felt food and one of the felt vehicles for DD2's Christmas gift. The jelly roll didn't quite make the picture, it was drying (fabric adhesive to glue on the "sprinkles") at the time. They are hand sewn so they took a while to do. They look good though, Dh said the food looked good enough to eat.

Now Im going to go shower, dress and work on sorting though the desk drawers. They are a bit of a mess . After Im done with that the plans for the day are:
- put away baby equipment in girls closet
- go through cupboard in living room (most of which isn't anything we are keeping, its gotten to be a dumping grounds for anything we don't know what to do with)
- Work on birthday banner
- quick clean apartment
- work on seeing if I can get the tub looking somewhat clean. Its a MESS and has been since before we moved in.
- try to keep from going stir crazy since its POURING down rain and its suppose to be for the rest of the week. Theres a typhoon thats grazing the island sooo we are getting tons of ran.

2lilsweetfoxes, I hope everything goes smoothly for you while your DH and little one are away.

Okimom, I would love to see the felt food, but both pictures you posted seem to be of the truck. The truck looks awesome! Is making felt toys by hand difficult? I think I'd love to do this for my son!

Well, I didn't get the bread or pie crust made. I made supper and washed the supper dishes. I wrote a near 5 page letter to my pen pal. I did fold and put away the diapers, plus one load of clothes. I washed 4 loads of laundry today, and I'm going to try to fold one more load and put 1 load in the dryer. The rest of what I planned I'll have to do tomorrow.

The bathroom tub is now almost white again!!! It was soooo nasty I finally decided to see what I could do about it (when we moved in the building manager told me they had tried "everything" and couldn't get the floor, walls or tubs clean from the last occupants).. I also scrubed the floor and the grout is almost white as well!! That has been bugging the heck out of me for almost 2 YEARS, Im glad I decided to try something and not trust that the building manager was telling me the truth (Im sure she thought the cleaners had done "everything" but you should have seen how yucky the apartment was when we moved in).
On to lunch, games and then I need to quick clean the apartment. Oh and I still need to put away the drawers. I cleaned them out, just need to put them back into the desk.

Poetry thanks for the heads up about the URL, I have issues with computer . It should be fixed now. Its not difficult, just time consuming. Those were done with premade kits I got at the local 100 yen store. I have a pattern book I got at a local bookstore as well but the kits turned out to be cheaper than trying to hunt down the different color felts. Felt is expensive over here for some reason.

Got the front cupboard done! Its now our emergency preparedness cupboard (it has 3 days worth of food, candles, flash lights, paper towels/plates, plastic silverware.. basically anything we would need if we lost power for an extended period of time).

ETA: Lunch is done and cleaned up from, the front room, dining room and kitchen are all cleaned. The master bedroom is done, now for DDs' room and for playroom.. Maybe I can get DD2 down for a nap first and only have to have DD1's "help"
eta 2- baby stuff is put away (I relocated everything from all over the storage closet to one central location), DDs' room is clean. Only room left is the playroom! Now that room looks like a bomb went off in it and spewed toys all over the place so it might take a while. After that I need to rotate the laundry.
eta 3- playroom is done, only took around 30 minutes which is good when DD1 is helping.. sometimes she decides its time to play in the middle of clean up . Im going to go do the laundry then monitor mess time.. I mean art time.
Ok, laundry rotated and put away whats dry.

I have a clean kitchen! (Well, just don't look at the floor... :P )

Question: When you take your break in between sessions how long is it? Like, are you doing 10 min clean and 10 min break or what? I have NO idea how long to break!!

It depends. Sometimes I immediately reset the timer for another round. Sometimes I give myself some time to surf the net or otherwise relax. Others I spend a good deal of time tending to my son before I'm able to focus on another session. I would give yourself the downtime you feel you need, as often as you need it. I don't think that really answered your question, though.

I think I did 15mins (there was a pause to get my 18mo a snack)

- Cleaning the dining table
- Scrubbed kitchen sinks
- Started a load of laundry
- Picked up trash
- Found dishes
- Loaded dishwasher

Whew. I'm feeling super motivated today (this NEVER happens) I'm really hoping it's nesting (it should be right? I'm almost 27 weeks...)

I'm going to take a short break and then go again.

Goals for the day:
- Clean living room (wipe surfaces, pick up toys, and vacuum)
- Clean off bar (AKA the catch-all from hell...WHY DO WE PUT THINGS HERE?!?)
- Sort through the basket of crap on the bar
- Clean Master Bath
- LAUNDRY LAUNDRY LAUNDRY (I'm hoping DS will actually let me fold some of it...he likes to throw it around. Apparently it looks much better strewn all over the floor than folded into neat piles)
- Sweep
- Lint Roll my chair (I just walked past it and it's gross looking)
- Clean out the fridge
- Pass out from sheer exhaustion I'm sure

Things that are done are in blue and new thoughts are in red
- Clean living room (wipe surfaces, pick up toys, and vacuum)
- Clean off bar (AKA the catch-all from hell...WHY DO WE PUT THINGS HERE?!?)
- Sort through the basket of crap on the bar *realize the crap is there because I have NO idea where to put it*
- Clean Master Bath
- LAUNDRY LAUNDRY LAUNDRY (I'm hoping DS will actually let me fold some of it...he likes to throw it around. Apparently it looks much better strewn all over the floor than folded into neat piles) I'll probably do this in 10min stints...I'm at least 2-3 loads behind on folding.
- Sweep *Put this off until DH gets home*
- Lint Roll my chair (I just walked past it and it's gross looking)
- Clean out the fridge
- Pass out from sheer exhaustion I'm sure
- Deal with poop accident

So far today I have:
-Cleaned the kitchen (surfaces, put things away, dishes running)
- Gathered laundry (I think it's having babies or something)
- started a load of laundry
- cleaned the living room (pick up stuff, surfaces, vacuum)
- cleaned dining table (it was filthy)
- cleaned the bar a bit
- cleaned up a small poop accident
- Master bath (except the toilet...I had a kid in there and I didn't want him to get a handful of Comet when I wasn't looking)
- light fridge cleaning (threw some stuff away)
- folded some laundry
- wipe dining chair seats
- wiped doorknobs
- ate lunch

Things I'm putting off until DH gets home:
- Master bath toilet
- Sweep
- Vacuum dining area

I'm still in Super Nesting Mode...with a clean house

Hi I'm glad to be here with y'all!

Today I:
*made breakfast
*got DD off to school
*cleaned the kitchen
*took out the trash
*made the bed
*studied
*finished 2 loads of laundry.
*made dinner
*cleaned the litter box
*read DD's bedtime stories and tucked her in

I'm off duty!

Oh yes, I decluttered DD's room weeks ago and now she keeps it so clean. She makes her friends clean up after themselves. This is awesome.
