I can always use motivation to declutter so I thought that maybe some links ar articles that we come across could be inspiration for someone else.
This is currently the one I am aiming for...the 100 things project.
Here are some quotes

Great idea for a thread. :D I love reading things that get some motivation going. I need it these days, when the motivation was always just there for me before... I guess when there's a lot more stuff and it's quick and painless to get rid of what's not needed or loved, then it's very easy. Anyway, I've always loved this article and have read it 10 times, probably. :p -
A Guide to Creating a Minimalist Home:
Just found this, too - easy to remember! http://mindthebeginner.wordpress.com/2009/07/21/1-step-to-creating-a-minimalist-home/
"Keep every surface clear." 8)
I did the 100 things last year; that was fun! I'd like to do it again.. I don't take it too seriously; I just have a good time with it. :D
I tend to like the minimalist approach to my home, because my mind just feels like.. a fog, or highly distracted or something, when there is stuff lying about or messes around, and such. I feel so much peace and happiness when my house is clear and relatively clean and neat. And the energy and time I have to spend playing and making messes and having fun and being mindful of it all when our house has the space for it is immense! When we get things picked up and put away and the countertops and floors are clear, my almost-5 year old dd goes Nuts, running around and jumping with a huge smile on her face, and she is just so happy to have the freedom that comes with a big "free" space to romp around in. :p I feel the same way! Every month or so, we take everything out of her room (because things just end up coming out of the woodwork and get everywhere), and we have a great time just getting the room clear and she looooves it, and then she picks out what she wants to bring back in, and it's all just fun and wonderful to do. I'd do it with my bedroom too, except all that's in it is a superb mattress on the floor, dh's alarm clock, my guitar (and dd's little one next to it) and my lovely pillow for meditating on the floor. The guitars are in there because there aren't any other good places to put them - small apartment at the moment. I'll get a wall-hanger thingy for our house in the future. :p
