My bathroom! I finally went through the 2 shelves and organized it a little better and got a shelf ready to hang,it's on top of the toilette until I can find screws and a screwdriver. The bathroom looks so much better now and so clutter free on the surface,I only have to go through the drawers now for it to be perfect. It's a huge change from my last place though where I had about 100 bottles of lotions and gels and washes....
My entry way! I moved into this new place a month ago and had a huge stack of boxes, mostly flattened one waiting for a friend. They came and got most of them yesterday and it feels so much cleaner and more clear when you walk in here now. I only have about 3 boxes left and they can be shoved into the closet until their next visit.
My kitchen pantry! Holy Moly, it's clean in there and like items are actually grouped. o_O
I randomly came across a youtube video where a woman explained how she uses her bakeware as her "baskets" to organize her pantry. It's genius! My pantry has never looked this good. My food is organized, I spent no money, and I cleared an entire cabinet where the bakeware used to be stored.
I cleaned out my sidetable drawers in my living room. They both act as my junk drawers and my kids' junk drawers, which adds up to a bunch of crap that belongs in other places...

My son's room. It was clearly suffering and yet I ignored it mostly out of dread. I could always find something more pressing. Well, we went through there today and it is awesome now. Clean closet, lots of space. Clean floor, clean surfaces. Clear drawers. He is in there just loving it. Out came two whole trash bags of broken toys and rubbish, and one lovely box of donatable toys. It is very inspiring for moving on to the next task.
I know I'm coming in late but I'm so proud of my clear out I need to share it with someone!
Ok, my minivan got a clean up and vacuum so it's perfect now. PLUS I cleaned out 3 boxes and 2 large totes of paper waste. All the important stuff was shredded and it ended up being 4 large trash bags to go into the recycle bin. YAY!! It feels so much lighter in our garage now. All those boxes and bins had been stacked in there and were taking up space we need.
THEN-Last fall my MIL sent us 5 totes full of dh's childhood crap. We didn't need every birthday card he'd ever gotten so we sorted and tossed out 3 bins worth. Now we just have to list lots of his vintage toys on ebay and make all the work worth our while. It's been a productive weekend so far and we still have sunday AND monday, too.
