Unfinished tasks from yesterday:

Make breakfast

Make lunch

Wash breakfast and lunch dishes

Have DSD write out our state facts on a postcard for a project for MDC family

Email MDC Family and have them send the return postcard directly to DSD

Email thank you for maternity shirts

Locate and fill out a Welcome Baby card

Clear off the dresser

Clear off the changing table

Pick up the bedroom

Vacuum the bedroom

Wash/dry/fold load of hand me down maternity shirts

Fold 2 loads of diapers

Fold 2 loads of towels/sheets

Fold and put away 2 loads of regular clothes

Call the doctor's office and find out the date/time of DS's appointment, and communicate to DH so that he can get the time off. It seems to have been deleted from Outlook.

Dress/do hair & makeup

Exercise

Have DH clean the litter box in the morning

Have DH move the kitty litter to the closet where it belongs and off the bathroom counter. It's heavier than I *should* be lifting.

Make pizzas for supper

Wash supper dishes/Sweep/Clean counter, stove, table & Highchair

DSD's sleepover!!

Wow what a wild weekend, lol. Things were kept quite today until today; DD just threw things all over the place and wouldn't pick them up. I got that under control after bedtime, but her play area could use another reconfiguring. Gotta keep it fresh! Laundry, dishes, vacuum, same old.....

Thanks poetry and clutteer. I have figured out if you keep things picked up it doesn't take long to clean each day.. Now remind me of that next I'm I'm exhausted and want to put of the nightly clean up for the next day.

This morning I have
Taken out the dog several times, gave him food and water
Pooper scooped the litter box
Washed the kitty bowls and gave him fresh food and water
Emptied the dishwasher
Made breakfast and cleaned up afterwards
Washed the windows in the bedroom and living room
Cleaned off the top of the dresser and the drawer in the night stand
Dusted the furniture in the living and dining rooms
Folded a load of laundry
Dollar tree and michaels done
Library done
Comforter bagged up

Now I need to
Dinner-leftover spaghetti

So far this morning I have
Made the beds

Tossed some sheets in the laundry

Painted my sq ft garden box, and the door- well- primed them, painting will be later

cleaned the kitchen

moved everything off the lawn for mowing

eaten breakfast

had a half a cup of coffee

Still to do

Pick up the living room and hall so I can vacuum

mop the kitchen and dining area

finish putting the laundry out

Paint the garden box and front door with a fresh coat of paint

mow the lawn and weed-whack some of the overgrowth back

run into town to do errands (this MAY get put off for a day...)

Assign tasks to my dd who managed to lie her way out of the house by telling me her chores were done as she headed off with her friend to play.  Grr. This is an ongoing battle. I had asked her to pick up the living room floor and clean out the dishwasher this morning.  That was it.  Her friend popped over while I was out painting and they headed off to play at her house.  As she passed I asked if she was sure she had finished her chores. "Yep, all done, Mom."   Uh... huh...  so now I need her own list...

Wipe down walls

dust

do the dishes by hand (there are only a few, I figure I can explain that they can't go in the dishwasher because there are things in there that weren't put away...)

clean bathroom

Friday!

We had thunderstorms forecast for last night and lately we've been losing power with storms so I stayed up late to get laundry/dishes/etc all done just in case.  I'm tired today, but I have a very short to-do list!

Mopping (this is pretty much daily- my boys are walking mess machines. )

I need to clean the bathroom- I'm breaking out the bleach this time.  there is a weird bacterial film growing in our toilet's water tank.  Bad for the seals or not, I'm killing it.

Finish painting another coat of paint  on the door and garden boxes.

Clean out the car- I think I'll ask DD to do this while I paint.  It's mostly her stuff that's accumulated in there. :P

-got the dishes done, kitchen wiped down, etc.

still haven't done these all week:

-give the chopping block a GOOD cleaning

-vacuum or laundry! nope not all week, eek!

but everything is quite tidy :)

Good afternoon everyone! I haven't been doing much cleaning yesterday or today, as my DSD flies out very early in the morning. I've been trying to be okay with letting things go while tending to the things that really matter. (Right now that isn't the state of my bedroom. bag.gif I'll have plenty of time to tackle that in the coming weeks.)

So far I have done the bare minimum:

Made coffee and breakfast

Washed dishes from supper last night and this morning's breakfast

Made lunch

Nursed DS down for nap

I need to:

Start the diapers soaking/put through 2-3 washes and 2 extra rinses/dry--I won't worry about folding them today.

Shower/dress/hair & makeup

Wash lunch dishes

Help DSD pack/gather her things

No. sleep.

-got the daycare paid up laundry done, etc. yesterday

-made coffee today, working

-still need to vacuum, hopefully before we leave around three pm, or otherwise monday.

Everything still tidy, but some areas will need extra attention soon, namely the linen closet.

Today has been a good cleaning day! I emptied out the closets in my dd's 'playroom' which were full of stuff that belongs to my ex and put it in his shed. I was therefore able to pick up and put away all the toys in the house. Yay! That made it where I could vacume the house easily. I also swept and mopped the kitchen and bathroom. Oh and I washed a load of cloth diapers but that I try to do daily anyway! Oh and this took me way more than fifteen minuets but I just felt like sharing anyway...

be good family...

OkiMom, I've been experiencing that same lack of motivation. I did get the kitchen pretty well picked up yesterday, so much that DH asked me if I stayed up late cleaning when I did all the work last night while he was giving DS a bath. LOL I guess that he isn't used to waking up to a clean/orderly kitchen lately. bag.gif

Greetings to momtoS, *bejeweled* & clutterwarrior. Happy cleaning to all goodvibes.gif

Oh, I can commiserate about the lack of motivation.  I'm trying to blame mine on being pregnant, but really it's just that I'm feeling lazy.

I've started a load of dishes

picked up a few toys

taken the trash out

am about to start some laundry

And that's really about it.

I'm almost completely out of milk, so I need to go grab that too.

Oh, and I need to call the town to have a dumpster dropped off so I can start tossing stuff as we prepare to move. (Donating some, but it's a long way to travel to donate and at this point I just need the stuff OUT. )

Okay I am going to tidy while my little sleeps. I only have two more days until SUMMER HOLIDAYS for the other two.

I am feeling pretty low this morning I went to the funeral to pay on the bill for my brothers funeral so I have been crying on and off since. SO...I think that is a pretty big task.

Back in a bit.
