The other one was getting kind of long and I'm not sure what the new rules are for thread length...so I started fresh.

I'm about to start a 10min session. Who's with me?

Aww that is lovely about your DD's award B...sounds like a lovely presentation.

Today I had to take my oldest DD driving so that was hard work as I have to really concentrate, she has to do 120 hours before she can go for her licence. It's nervewracking taking her out driving, I have to keep such a close eye on what she does; as it is we had two close accidents but neither would have been her fault, just stupid people on the roads doing stupid things!

*bejeweled*, congrats on your daughter's award! That's really awesome!

Today I'm getting out of the house with the kids! We're just walking to the library, but at least it's something. If the weather is nice, maybe we'll have a picnic on the lawn later. Of course, there are other things to do cleaning-wise. But I'll be back...

ok just finished/baby needed me and realized i didnt post this, i did look at the clock and it was 11:35 whhen i began and 12:09 when i finished so 34 mins!

i cleaned the bathroom, including adding a label to a box of extra toothpastes and stuff, squeegying the walls of the shower because my hubby forgot, found a little basket for out hair brushes and stuff, sorting a bit of laundry that was on the floor, sweeping and wiping. still to do: mop, clean toilet and take the trash out. that will be tomorrow, right before we have our bbq

i cleaned the kitchen from a big mess to wiped off counters, some recycling done, and some dishes, there is still a sink full of dishes to wash, drying dishes to put away, and mopping. Oh and bbq grill rack to wash, thanks hubby!

just finished feeding the baby and put her down for a nap, so i can tackle the rest of the house! will update after!

I work from home so sometimes I have my hands free for a bit and other times I try to take short, productive breaks. Right now I've done about 4 1/2 out of the 8ish hours I should clock at work, and I have four more hours before I pick up DD from daycare.

Today I:

Made a lazy/quick breakfast of granola, frozen blueberries, & kefir

Took DD to daycare

Cleared up all the debris that resulted from my mom watching DD here yesterday!!

Got various shoes, clothes, and toys put away

Made instant coffee with honey- a thick brew!

Sliced mushrooms for dinner

Still need to:

Vacuum!

Make the bed

Fold clean clothes (from last week- got all of mine done & away days ago, but DD's stuff is still sitting around in a basket!)

More dinner prep, then wash dishes from dinner before bedtime

Laundry- perhaps tomorrow?

It was good. It's always great to get out and get a little sunshine.

Happy Friday!
Boy, am I an unmotivated slacker today.

So far I have:

Made coffee and breakfast

Made lunch

Helped DSD wash the breakfast dishes (her initiative!)

Folded one load of laundry

Washed a load of towels

Called my midwife's office for my lab results

Made the bed

Nursed DS down for a nap

Took out the trash (or set the full bag in the utility room for DH to take out this evening) & replaced the trash bag

DH mailed my letter to my pen pal!

I need to:

Open some windows!

Get myself to a presentable state :)

Pick up the kitchen

Sweep the kitchen floor

Wash lunch dishes

Exercise!!!

Decide upon birth affirmations to include with the beads for the bead exchange in my DDC & write them out (to be mailed in the AM)

Write my New Zealand pen pal

Fold and put away 1 load of regular laundry, 1 load of diapers and 1 load of towels

Remember that I love my life!!!!!!

If time:

Clear off my dresser and the changing table

Pick up bedroom

Vacuum bedroom

Thanks for keeping me company. Slackers need companionship, too! LOL I do envy you your nap, though. I'm about to (try to) retire early.

Poetry, I know this feeling too well today. I'm just up from a nap.

And not feeling particularly like doing much else.

The rest of my day was truly of slacker quality. I put away a load of laundry and started to pick the bedroom up (making a very small dent in it), but that's about it. Oh well, tomorrow is a new day.

#575 ·
I've been totally slacking last few umm weeks.. My house shows it too. I need to clean ALOT today since the housing office is coming by to do the bimonthly inspection (every other month they stop by to check fire alarms, replace batteries and do any maintenance that needs to be done) some time in the next couple of days. So far I have

Emptied the dishwasher
Took the dog out twice and fed him
Changed the baby and got him dressed for the day
Showered and dressed myself
Did a load of laundry
Made breakfast
Cleaned up a mess the kitten made by dumping a thing of liquid soap all over the place
Changed kitty litter
Made my bed
Picked up the apartment
Cleaned bathrooms
Mopped bathrooms
Vacuumed all rooms
Striped and remade girls beds
Packed diapeer bag for tomorrow
Kitchen cleaned and mopped
Laundry done and put away
Dinner made and ate

Now I need go
Relax

But first I need to change a diaper and nurse the baby.

#576 ·
Fed and changed the baby, got the girls dressed and put away a load of laundry. Now I'm going to go clean up the kitty litter, sweep/mop where it is, make my bed and clean up the bedroom. If I still have time in the 15 minutes I'll start on the master bathroom.

Eta: bedroom done and so is the kitty litter. Up next is the master bathroom

Bathroom done. The baby wants to nurse again then I'm going to go start on the living room then move into the hall bathroom
