I found an old thread on here from 2007 from a mom who had a drawer full of bras that no longer fit. The thread is locked because it's so old. Couldn't comment there. But I'm sure there are still SO many moms who have this problem. Nobody wants to throw away a good bra. And shouldn't!
Bras CAN be donated.
There's a Chicago-based non-profit, Support1000, that does just that! They take our tax deductible donations of new and gently used bras, then they sort them and send them to organizations around the world that serve women. Like homeless shelters and schools and such. Somewhere on their website it mentions nursing and maternity bras being needed, too.
Shoes can be donated.
Formal Dresses can be donated.
Hair can be donated.
