.... Pack your very most important stuff in a small bag and just get lost in this wide and wonderful world?

I think I'm having one of those days! 2whistle.gif

Definitely! The thought of starting over is so appealing ot me. Maybe not as much as it was a year ago. I'm getting it under control now and I can feel a difference in my attitude, but some days, I just want to leave all my stuff behind and goooo!

We are doing that.  The packrat in me has to analyze every single thing and find the right home for it, so it's taken me a few YEARS, but we're doing it!

Our house has never felt so empty!

We hope to be on the road in an RV in the next few months.

I am as well, every monday I pack up a box and one bag and either give it away if it's something that someone else can use or trash it.  I'll be doing this til march.  This gives me time to get it all out of my life!  I would just love to run from it but I can't so I'm using this method to curb my urge.

Awesome! I thought I was alone. joy.gif

I'm getting to the stage where our house has never been so bare, but it still feels like so much. I guess what I'm looking for, is more so the 'true' detachment to stuff rather than just paring down. I know if I gave it all away, it would mean that the items didn't have that much relevance in my life as I thought they did

I find myself fretting over the HOURS I have spent packing it up, moving the boxes around, unpacking it, thinking about it, then working hard to find a new home for everything.  Some days, I think I just packed stuff away, waiting for the recycling industry to catch up with the wanton wastefulness of my youth.
