Hi everyone.  Well although I was joking yesterday about sending out a search party, I actually DID manage to get lost last night coming home; it was dark and due to inadequate signs, I missed the turn and spent ages driving around, not knowing where I was..at one point I thought I was going to be driving round Sydney all night!
Finally got back on track and got home over an hour after taking the girls to the party..  eyesroll.gif

Today:

had breakfast

to do:

make coffee

make bed

bring in washing

more washing on

hang out to dry

gym for workout

return library books

prepare dinner

vacuum and mop downstairs

Yes it was a horrible feeling! At one point I started to feel quite sick and panicky....but then thought to myself hang on, I am only in my own city, and I knew that I would eventually find my way, so I calmed down.  That panic feeling is the worst!

Clutter, I hate being lost, too. I've been turned around at night SO many times.. it's the worst! Glad you made it home safely, though.

Today, I've:

-cleaned the kitchen

-started work

Ok, that's not really that productive. :P

I would still like to:

-catch up on some emails

-file state tax extension

-water the garden

-clean my son's bathroom upstairs

-make raspberry leaf infusion

-make more herbal tea

-soak beans

-make veggie sausages for tomorrow's breakfast

-20 minutes of yoga

-make dinner

-wash diapers

It sounds as if DH is vacuuming upstairs right now which was on my list. If he doesn't vacuum the ENTIRE upstairs, it's on my list to finish. I <3 newly vacuumed carpets!

Oh, who knows! All the others I tried were taken. :P I've been making a point to spend more time turning my thoughts into actual actions which requires a great deal of will. It's been hard innerwork but I feel I've been making progress. :)

I like the name willfulmama too, a frequent reminder to check in!

Clutterwarrior, sorry to hear about your unexpected adventure!

Hello all, I have had just enough time to get things done lately and not so much time to write about it. Pausing for a moment here to mark off everything I accomplished- get this- before my morning alarm went off!

Got up and stretched (I need to do this every day!!)

Lounged around with D

Brushed our teeth

Let her pick out a temporary tattoo :o

Took her to day care

Got home & took out recycling

I don't have to start work for 43 more minutes, there is a sink full of dishes and a clogged up bath tub :/ she pulled the plug on a bath and let a small wash cloth go down. I call it a wash cloth but I originally bought them as cloth baby wipes. They need to GO because this happened three times last summer and obviously it's been a while but it can't happen again, ever! Guess I need to buy some larger ones that won't fit down the drain.. it is just a 2" hole and the plumber said there was no way to install anything that would block objects from going down there, the only option is one of those hair catchers that sit in the drain, but I have to take that out to pug it for a bath! grr.

clutterwarrior, I have no sense of direction. I usually need to go to a place a minimum of 3 times before I can start to remember the way.

DH has a ceremony tomorrow evening to be inducted into the honor society of his school. A friend is coming to help contain the kids during the ceremony, so she's coming to our apartment and driving to the ceremony with me. We moved in nearly 2 weeks ago, but you wouldn't know it. So much has yet to be unpacked. AND tons of cleaning needs to be done. I have to unpack my clothes so that I have something appropriate to wear. DH has suggested a particular dress, but I have to see how my post baby body looks in it first.

Other than unpacking our clothes to find appropriate attire, I'm just focusing on the basics: cleaning the bathroom, washing dishes, sweeping, mopping & vacuuming. Plus, general picking up. But I'm not going crazy cleaning for this friend. It is what it is. :-)

Today I have:

Changed the boys' diapers and dressed them

Fed DS1 breakfast

Had coffee

I need to:

Put away dishes

Wash the dishes

Transfer towels to the dryer

Start a load of laundry

Make green smoothies for DS1 and self

Take & give vitamins

Pick up the kitchen

Pick up the living room

Pick up the bathroom

Clean the sink & mirror

Clean the toilet

Clean the tub/shower

Sweep & mop kitchen, living room, hallway and bathroom

Vacuum the bedroom

Put away my clothes

Put away the boys' clothes

Select outfits for ceremony

SAGE SMUDGING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Paint my nails to feel pretty

That's more than enough.

Ive been very not productive the last couple of days.. I'm just so tired! Ive been having a combo of not sleeping well due to allergies/morning sickness, kids not sleeping well and really bad dreams.. I don't know what it is about this pregnancy but I could do without the dreams! I'm going to try to get things done today because if I don't keep moving I'm going to fall sleep, which isn't a good idea since the kids are up and hyper already. Im going to go for groups of 5 things today, break things down small and it might get done orngbiggrin.gif I use to do that when I just had one and didn't feel like I needed everything planned out for the day.. Im to tired to plan today!

First 5

Make breakfast - French Toast and sausage

Do breakfast and last night's dinner dishes

Wipe down sinks/table

Sweep the kitchen

Rotate the laundry

I haven't even gotten the first five done yet! My son is teething and is having a rough time of it right now.. I finally gave him a bit of tylenol bag.gif and it got him to sleep for a bit. Poor kid, his gums hurt him so bad he doesn't even want to eat greensad.gif

Im not even going to try to do anything in the kitchen while hes sleeping, Im to worried he will wake up looking for me and I won't hear him! I need to get a monitor to put in the bedroom since its hard to hear him over the loudness that is my other two.

Next things to do:

Revamp gift giving list

revamp crafting/household to do list

work on organizing the closet

remove all the toys from the master bedroom

clean off the end tables/dresser

So this weekend we mowed the yard... thats it. At least the yard looks 1000000 times better joy.gifOh and my middle didn't have a nighttime accident ALL weekend so we didn't have to do extra laundry.

Today Im going to stick to my lists of 5.. The baby is still teething so Im still not getting enough sleep. Also Ive been having horrible dreams (like last night I had a dream my husband insisted on letting out daughter stay overnight at someone else's house, when she came back she had black and blue hand prints all over her and my husband didn't think anything was wrong.. I woke up really upset and had to go check and make sure she was still in bed sleeping) I really hate pregnancy dreams.

First 5:

Make biscuits for breakfast

Do dishes

wipe down counters/table

sweep kitchen floor

rotate laundry

Next five:

fold/put away clean laundry

watch Army wives while Im folding laundry bag.gif

clean off the night stands and dresser in my bedroom

clean off the bookcase in my bedroom

Put books in the bookcase in my bedroom

Ok, so the baby is finally down for a nap so I MIGHT be able to get things done. My youngest is being a bit "high needs today" eyesroll.gif Whats a mama to do.. While hes napping I hope to:

e-mail DH a shopping list

clean off the nightstands/dresser/bookcase

put books in the bookcase

rotate the laundry

put the laundry away

Hi guys! I moved into my new apartment on the 1st. We've unpacked a lot of stuff and have more to unpack, still. I need to start regular cleaning and get into some type of routine again.

So far I've had coffee.

I need to:

Toss one load of laundry in the washer

Put away and wash dishes

Make green smoothies

Make breakfast & lunch

Wash breakfast dishes

Toss laundry in the dryer

Wash sheets

Clean refrigerator drawers

Clean bathroom sink & Mirror

Clean out wallet

1 Administrative call

Straighten up bedroom/unpack/organize
