So after my mini breakdown last week I managed to get the rest of the house unpacked. No more boxes joy.gifMy husband moved around furniture in about every room of the house and I did a huge decluttering in the playroom. The house isn't perfect but I don't feel like I'm being suffocated by the mess anymore. I can walk through the house without dodging to much and honestly I don't expect perfect.. I have a 5 yo, 3yo and 1 yo.. as long as you don't step in anything gross Ill call it good orngbiggrin.gif

Tomorrow I have an ultrasound appointment.. I'm trying to remember if you are suppose to have a full bladder or not for the appointment. They didn't say one way or the other. Then Its baking and laundry day winky.gif

To Dos:

Ultrasound appointment 0830

make 4 loaves regular bread Just realized there is no way Im going to have time to make the bread, have it rise twice (for 1 1/2 hours each time), form it and have it rise again then cook it before leaving tonight so Im putting it off till tomorrow!

make 2 batches muffins (cinnamon and peanut butter)

fold/put away laundry from today

do at least 10 loads of laundry, fold, put away Done 4

clean up from baking

make curtains for the living room (4 panels needed)

cast on one pair of baby booties in appropriate color (if the baby cooperates that is!)

do workbooks with the girls

do finger painting with all three

Night trip to pick up uniforms and stop by babies r us (pricing baby items in case we can't find them used)

Have DH pull out the seabag/garment bag so I can pack for his trip.. I usually do all his packing bag.gif

I have to get to bed! I have to be up in like 4 1/2 hours to help the hubby get his uniform ready for work. So zofran is working to help me feel better but the only side effect is now that I don't feel bad its hard for me to fall asleep.

Hi everyone...long time no post, due to a variety of boring reasons.

Oki I am pretty sure you have to drink a fair bit beforehand and hold it in...not fun!  Here is a site that gives lots of helpful tips about it: http://pregnancy.thefuntimesguide.com/2008/06/drinking_water_ultrasound.php

So far today:

made beds

fed DS

cleaned a sink and a toilet

went to art class

got lunch

brought in washing

hung out some clothes

to do:

put whites in to wash

hang them out to dry

empty dishwasher 1

empty dishwasher 2

dust lounge room furniture

look up recipe for dinner

Congrats, Oki! It must have been ultrasound day yesterday--I had my one (and only) early yesterday morning!

I had a nice weekend but boy am I excited to get back to a normal rhythm around here. No one did any cleaning on Mother's Day and yesterday, our appointment was early and I switched my work schedule around so I could still work a full day. I didn't finish work until late and DH didn't really do that much around the house.. I am ready for a regular boring old day around here.

So, so far today I've:

-made coffee

-apparently I'm letting DH sleep in

Still to do:

-wash diapers

-dry diapers

-clean kitchen

-make breakfast for DS

-work

-make bread

-make dinner

-take trash/recycling to curb

-work on meal plan for the coming week

-vacuum living room

Thanks everyone! We did end up going out yesterday and running errands. Today DH has duty so he won't be home until tomorrow night. Good time to do some house work orngbiggrin.gif no additional distractions, other than the children.

Hoping to get done:

quick clean the house

pack DH's bags, he leaves Thursday or Friday or Saturday.

make 4 loaves of bread

make the curtains for around the house and hang the ones that already have curtain rods in place

make seashell bags for the kids

if it ever stops raining, go to the library

work on planning out a couple of activities for when DH is gone

meal plan

food shopping list

I almost forgot laundry, can't forget that!

I just discovered this product called 'Sugar Soap' which seems to work really well for cleaning the shower tiles!  joy.gif

I just spent fifteen minutes cleaning the downstairs shower and it is sparkling...no sign of mould!  I must say that cleaning the shower is usually one of my most hated jobs and the shower upstairs has a mould problem so I will be trying the sugar soap on it too when I get some energy back, lol.

Even when we used to get cleaners come in 10 years ago after we had our third child and they never seemed to be able to get the mould off thoroughly, maybe because they don't just put as much effort in compared to when you are cleaning your own home?  But maybe this will do the trick...will see.

I haven't been doing anything the last two days. Im so beat sleeping.gif.. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day

Definitely! I feel like I haven't gotten much accomplished. So far:

Got the older kids up and off to school

Took a shower (which you know how hard that can be!)

Went to the DMV to renew my license

Fed the cats (twice so far)

Got 7 short articles done (I'm a part time freelance writer)

Read to DH

I still want to at least:

Fold and put away laundry

Clean up the stack of papers the cats knocked on the floor

Get three more short articles done

Get started on a birthday gift for DH

Leftover Ham from the freezer plus Mac & Cheese from last night, peas.

Oh Oki that's a shame you don't have sugar soap over there..such good stuff! loveeyes.gif   Haha..yes.. knew that long to-do list was coming sooner or later!

B...tortilla soup sounds good, I have never heard of it before. So you put tortillas in the soup? confused.gif

Poetry I very often don't know where to begin, in fact that is why I find writing a list here is the only way I seem to get things done usually.

mromans what sort of articles do you write? If you don't mind sharing that is.....

Today has been a big day, it's my middle daughter's 18th birthday, so she is now officially an adult! So she is going out clubbing tonight for the first time, with her friends. Luckily that means I don't have to cook a birthday dinner as I normally would, so we might get take out tonight. orngbiggrin.gif

Managed to clean up the lounge today after all the gift unwrapping, and dusted all the furniture too, then dusted the foyer and cleaned the front door down while I was at it!

Thank goodness it's the weekend at last (well here it is anyway).

Clutter- Id hate to be less than predictable orngbiggrin.gif

Dropped DH off this morning, he will be gone for the next month or so.. In typical "me" fashion I went to get his bag out of the back of the van, opened the door and the bag dropped on my foot. Now its purple and swollen, sometimes I think klutz should have been my middle name!!. eyesroll.gif Hubby got off really early yesterday so almost none of the house work got done, decided to spend the time with him instead.

To dos today:

drop off the hubby

do dishes

clean up the mess from hubby cooking last night

clean up the front room

figure out meal plan for at least the next two weeks

clean up the hallway

clean up the playroom

clean up the girls room

do some laundry

watch Dance Moms Bolt.gif

Go through/sort yarn by type of project (baby, birthday, holiday etc)

work on baby to do list.. Even thinking about it yesterday made me tired!!

bejeweled- that soup sounds good! I wonder if I could convince the kids that soup would be a good idea in the heat orngbiggrin.gif

Yesterday I managed to get the playroom, girls room and living room reasonable clean. Today I need to concentrate on my room, kitchen and the million loads of laundry..

TO dos:

a ton of laundry, Ive weighed it (kidding, I didn't weigh it!)

dishes

wipe down sinks

clean microwave, stove and oven

clean off table, wipe down chairs

put chairs back where they belong

sweep/mop under table

clean up hallway, move toy chest into living room

put hubby's gear in the attic

clean up my room

clean off endtables/chest of drawers

Find my phone charger in case hubby calls.

I did run to the store yesterday and picked up some more hangers so doing laundry should be a ton easier now :) I don't have to get creative with how to hang things.

in hot weather I like COLD zucchini soup, especially if I've managed to find fresh cilantro which I add just before liquidizing it (in the pot, with a hand held blender)

Hi! DH is at the store with DS1 and DS2 is napping. I have to be productive.

So far I've put the new couch, loveseat & chair covers on and I've transferred a load of laundry to the dryer. I also put away a few towels.

Next session:

Washed dishes

Cleared most of the counter off

but have now been relaxing at the computer for more than 1 hour

and I KNOW i must stop that and get on with my other tasks on the never ending "to do list" ....
